Halloween cake trends we’re expecting to see everywhere this autumn!🔮✨

🎃 Classic meets modern
Classic piping, Halloween colour combinations and a few cosy witchy details bring it firmly into Halloween cake territory without feeling too traditional.

🍪 Retro Halloween
Vintage Halloween details are definitely one to keep an eye on. There’s something about a vintage Beistle inspired Halloween cookie that just works! Keep the colour palette limited, make the designs bold and let the details do the talking. Sometimes less really is more!

🩸 Monster cakes
For Halloween cake ideas with a slightly more gruesome twist, we’re voting for the monster mouth. Plenty of buttercream, some very questionable teeth and, obviously, a bit of edible blood. Not exactly subtle, but that's rather the point.

🕷️ Spooky florals
Buttercream flower cakes are getting a Halloween twist too. Keep the classic floral piping, then bring in spooky details like eyeballs and spiderwebs, with orange and purple doing most of the heavy lifting. Definitely one for the Halloween cake decorating mood board.
