This weekend one of our amazimg crafters Fiona is taking part in the **Young Traders competition in Stratford-upon-Avon**, and there’s a **People’s Choice Award** voted by public.

✨️We're so excited to announce that The Crafted Nook is moving!✨️

Over the past few months, we've been working hard behind the scenes to find ways to make The Crafted Nook even better for both our sellers and our customers.

As many of you know, one of the biggest challenges with our current shop has been the limited parking. While we've loved our little shop, we've always wanted to find a location that gives our amazing handmade businesses the exposure they truly deserve.

We've secured a fantastic new location at Culverhouse Cross, where we'll be part of an exciting new village-style retail concept created by a local company. The Crafted Nook will have its own dedicated handmade section, so we'll essentially be picking up everything that makes The Crafted Nook special and recreating it in our new home.

The new location offers some fantastic benefits:

* A retail park with parking for around 600 cars.
* Longer opening hours, with the store expected to be open until around 8pm most evenings.

Our current Cardiff shop will close on Friday 28th August and we're aiming to launch the new shop on 1st October (possibly even a little earlier if everything goes to plan).

We genuinely can't thank you all enough for supporting The Crafted Nook. This next chapter is incredibly exciting, and we really hope you'll continue the journey with us.

🏆✨ WE CAME RUNNERS UP! ✨🏆

We are absolutely thrilled to share that we came RUNNERS UP in the Art & Creative 2026 category at the Best of South Wales Awards! 😍🎉

Of course, we would have loved to bring home the WIN… but to have been nominated, become a finalist and then be named Runners Up is something we are incredibly proud of. 🥹❤️

A HUGE thank you to every single person who voted for us, supported us and believed in us. It honestly means more than you know. 🥰

And an extra special thank you to the mystery person who originally nominated us — whoever you are, THANK YOU! 😘 Without that nomination, none of this would have happened.
