I make hand crafted items from fabric and mostly make limited editions and one-off items. I am also happy to do bespoke/custom orders if you like my ideas but I've not got the fabric/colours you want. I can source the materials and make gifts to order in a reasonably quick turn around. Cumberland Council clearly have nothing better to do. They put ridiculous demands on a small business in a local village, but allow v**e shops and numerous mini marts to spoil the aesthetic of Carlisle.

Your opinion please!.....

I'm making crackers with this absolutely gorgeous Moda Stained-glass patterned fabric that I bought at Superior Sewing Machines. Thought it would be nice to sell at Carlisle Cathedral Farmers' & Makers' Market.

I've not done a book cushion for a while. I just love making them. They are such a cheerful present to make.
It's a cushion cover with a handle and a front (full-with) pocket to store your favourite book/comic.
Can be ordered with or without cushion inner and with or without personalisation.

Thank you to all my new customers today at Carlisle Cathedral Farmers' & Makers' Market. Lovely to be out of the wind and rain and be in the cosy undercroft. Thanks to Craig & Sheila for their help and for coordinating everything. All went smoothly and it was very well organised.

Hope to be back next month. In the meantime.... On Saturday 8th I will be at Dalston Show 2026 in the Craft Tent. See you there!
