👋 Meet the Team: Sean Reynolds, Sales Manager

This week, we're introducing Sean Reynolds, our Sales Manager, who joined Billington Outdoor ten months ago and has quickly become an important part of the team.

Sean's role is split between strategic planning and working directly with customers and dealers across the country. Two days a week are spent in the office, helping to drive both short and long-term sales strategies, working closely with suppliers, strengthening customer relationships, and collaborating with our sales, marketing and product development teams.

The other three days are spent out on the road, meeting with dealers, showcasing new products, delivering training, and ensuring customers receive the support and service they need to grow their businesses. With early starts, plenty of travel and the occasional overnight stay, no two weeks are ever quite the same.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, Sean said:

💬 "The best thing about working here is the people and the opportunities. I get to work with a fantastic team, meet customers across the country, and play a key role in bringing exciting new products to market. The mix of office-based planning and time on the road keeps the job fresh and rewarding."

Sean describes the team as:

Growing up, Sean dreamed of becoming a professional skateboarder. While his career took a different path, his passion for adventure is still very much part of who he is today.

Outside of work, you'll often find Sean making the most of the great outdoors. Whether it's a mountain bike ride through the Lakes or Wales, a countryside hike with family and friends, or a camping weekend away, he's happiest when he's outside exploring.

🍽️ Favourite meal after a busy day?

Sean describes himself as a bit of a foodie, having previously run his own catering company. For him, it's all about good food made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

If he wasn't doing his current role?

👋 Meet the Team: Callum Pattinson, Sales Administrator

This month, we're introducing Callum Pattinson, one of our Sales Administrators and a valued member of the Billington Outdoor team.

Since joining the business, Callum has become an important part of our day-to-day operations, helping customers, supporting colleagues and ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible behind the scenes.

In his role, no two days are quite the same. From processing customer orders and handling enquiries to working closely with the wider team, Callum plays a key role in delivering the high level of service our customers expect.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, his answer was clear:

💬 "The opportunity to communicate with customers and help them, while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction."

Callum describes the team as hardworking, proactive and friendly, qualities that reflect the culture we're proud to have built at Billington Outdoor.

Growing up, Callum dreamed of becoming either a professional footballer or football manager, highlighting the passion, teamwork and ambition that he still brings to his role today.

Working as part of a small but hardworking warehouse team, Andrew plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. His days are fast-paced and hands-on, involving everything from receiving deliveries and dispatching customer orders to carrying out stock checks and managing warranty claims.

As Andrew puts it, there's never nothing to do!

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, his answer brought a smile to the team:

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his daughter, often exploring the beautiful Lake District with his drone in tow and making the most of the outdoors.

👋 Meet the Team: Lucy Smith

This month, we're introducing Lucy Smith, a valued member of the Billington Outdoor team who joined us in June 2025 and has quickly become an integral part of the business.

Lucy has one of those roles where no two days are ever the same. From sales and customer service through to logistics, supplier management, stock ordering and warehouse support, she helps keep multiple areas of the business running smoothly.

Like many of us, Lucy starts her day with the most important task first... ☕ coffee! After that, it's time to tackle emails, check stock levels, place orders, chase deliveries, manage accounts and support the sales team with whatever they need.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, her answer was simple:

💬 "My team. I work with a great group of people, both within Billington Outdoor and across the wider business."

Lucy describes the team as fun, dedicated and friendly, which perfectly captures the culture we're proud to have built.

Growing up, Lucy considered a few different career paths, including becoming a hairdresser, solicitor or even a personal shopper. While her career journey took a different direction, her passion for organisation and working with people shines through every day.

Duncan is responsible for keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly. His day starts early, ensuring everything is safe, organised and ready for the day ahead before turning his attention to emails, messages and the ever-changing demands of the warehouse. In a hands-on environment like ours, no two days are ever the same.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, Duncan's answer was refreshingly simple:

💬 "The hours of work."

He describes the team as a small, mixed and close-knit group, working together to ensure orders are picked, packed and delivered efficiently.

Outside of work, Duncan enjoys spending quality time with his family and his dogs. In fact, if he wasn't managing the warehouse, he'd quite happily spend his days walking the dogs and enjoying the outdoors.

Fun fact: Growing up, Duncan dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, proving he's always had a competitive and team-focused mindset!

What does Jess enjoy most about her role? The creativity. Whether she's designing website banners, creating marketing artwork or helping improve the customer experience online, she loves having the opportunity to bring ideas to life.
