Yesterday I went all the way out of my comfort zone and wrote and performed a poem about our shop at an outdoor poetry event.

Another strong contender in the category of "fab fair trade things you never knew existed": fair trade footballs! ⚽️🌏💚🩵

We have just started stocking these footballs from Bala Sport

They are made in fair trade certified factories in Pakistan, and a 15% premium is paid on every invoice. At Bala's Bola Gema factory, workers voted to use their premium to create a subsidised grocery store, providing a substantial benefit to their community.
