🌟FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD! LUCKY DIP BAGS🌟

👋Good morning, all! After a couple of days resting up, we are now back in the shop, working behind the scenes to sort the shop out ready to handover back to the landlord.
As we still have some stock left over, we are offering lucky dip bags...£40-worth of products for a rather bargainsome £20!
🍪🍫🫖Obviously, the contents of each one will vary, however, each bag will definitely contain tea, biscuits, jam, chutney or pickle and chocolate. Please message us if you'd like one and we'll make arrangements for payment and collection!

Always there when we needed you, even taking charge and looking after things for us while we jetted off to Mexico a few years ago (although we've not forgotten that we returned to a sign reading 'Under new management'...😂). The place would not have been the same without you...xx

🛍12 Crosby Street was our perfect little shop. Our time there may have been relatively short due to current circumstances way beyond our control, but the memories will last forever.
Thanks to you all for making our last week one to remember. We are touched that so many of you took the time to either come in or get in touch with good wishes for the future. We have felt truly appreciated. Flowers, plants, chocolates, several alcofrolic beverages and a fishing rod (thanks, Karl!🎣) are currently sitting in our living room, serving as reminders of our fabulous customers.💝
We will be at the shop for several more weeks sorting, packing and cleaning. We will not be answering the phone during this time, but you can contact us via email or by messaging us on here if you need to. We will be keeping our social media pages up for the time being.

😍It has been lovely to see so many of you this week. We have managed not to cry so far (although there have been several close calls...)!

❤It's Goodbye from us...

It is with a mixture of sadness and relief that we must tell you that we will be closing the door of 12 Crosby Street for good this Saturday.
Like many of you, we have found the last 18 months difficult. We have worked more hours than we've ever worked before in order to constantly adapt to new rules, provide delivery and collection options for you and keep the shop shelves stocked. All in what can, at best, be described as challenging circumstances. For the last 18 months we have felt as though we were constantly wading through treacle trying to keep not only Food, Glorious Food!, but ourselves, functioning and healthy. We are exhausted.
With our lease due for renewal soon, we had to have some very difficult conversations about whether we wanted to carry on. It turned out that neither of us did. Instead, it is time for us to focus on looking after ourselves.
🌟We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their support over the years. It has meant the world to us. Special thanks go to those of you who have continued to support us over the last 18 months. Whether it's been coming to the shop in person, requesting delivery/collection orders or simply sharing/commenting on our posts, it has been appreciated.💖
We will be open until this Saturday (separate post to follow with opening times for the rest of the week) and would love to see some of you.
