This is no ordinary store; our garden centre is spread over 3 levels; with the main level home to core gardening, gift shop, clothing, the Topiary Coffee Shop and Laird’s Larder Food Hall; the second floor mezzanine displaying garden furniture and outdoor living and a basement level housing the World in Miniature Museum and attractions including the Craft Shop, Doll’s House Emporium, Hornby, Scale

xtric and Airfix. The outdoor plant area has been created from the original walled kitchen garden of Houghton Hall and is the perfect setting for choosing plants. The Laird’s Larder Farm Shop offers the finest quality local and regional foods; produce from the Laird’s Larder can be tasted within the Topiary Coffee Shop - our renowned fresh cream cakes are the only way to finish off your visit. This modern coffee bar offers a wide selection of drinks, homebaking, sweet treats and snacks, ideal if you wish to sit in or take away.

🌿 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭: 𝐄𝐮𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞!

It's true, some Euphorbias (the desert houseplant kinds) look so much like cacti that it's easy to be fooled. But the garden Euphorbias we stock are hardy perennials grown for their gorgeous foliage and structure, and they're far more cold-tolerant than any cactus!

🌱 Tough and easy – Happy in well-drained soil, low fuss once established.
🍂 Year-round interest – Great foliage, structure, and even winter colour.

Rhys has been part of the team for 9 months and has been perfecting his butchery skills for over 3 years. 🔪

We asked him to pick his favourites from the counter… and narrowing it down to wasn’t easy! His top picks are our Homemade Cumberland Sausages (who can blame him), Hunter’s Chicken and Korean Pork Belly Slices. 🔥 Let's not forget the Beef & Mushroom Truffles and our Ginger and Chilli Chicken Stir Fry (choosing 3 was pushing it!)
