Memento Bears Handmade bears that have been personally made by me, from clothing that a loved one wore who has died. I also make collectors bears

I also make bears for any other reason eg birth
I use sample bears for display your bears are private to you. Handmade bears in a choice of four sizes. My primary reason for making a bear for you is bereavement. The garment can be a jacket, skirt, jumper etc. I never put on what isn't there. I will make a bear for you for other reasons birth, separation or you may just want a bear.

Hello Folks. Well last memory bears made. I would like to thank my last customer for a very touching letter (I believe in privacy so no details). I will treasure it.

Trying to get some stock done for Harrogate Autumn Flower Show next month. This is their 2nd time at the new spot. Loved it last year so looking forward to seeing folks again.

Hello Folks. Just to let you know I'm semi-retiring. I am continuing with Accent on Bears were I make bears for my own pleasure but I am no longer doing memory bears. IF you turn up at Harrogate Autumn Flower Show (which I presume I've got into again) with garments and a request then I'll do them for you. Telephone/email orders have got too erratic so I am no longer going to say yes. sorry if this inconveniences people but I have to start drawing the line.

Hello Folks. Well back from Harrogate Spring Flower Show. I thoroughly enjoyed being back (I didn't do last year as I felt there were too many germs around) and meeting alot of lovely new people. Have to confess I was a tad disappointed with the Flower Hall and very annoyed they'd put the Food Hall in next to the flower hall rather than next to us in the craft tent, it was bad enough having to race to the loo and impossible to go to the food during the show (I'm a one man band so I have to leave my stall), so I'm thinner (oh that's a laugh) because of it.

Hello Folks. Well I hope none of you were planning on seeing me in Harrogate for a Xmas show. Sadly the organisers of Harrogate Xmas Market, an EXTREMELY wonderful show which we did for 8 years, and they sent a copious amount to charities because of it, and then Harrogate Council knifed them in the back, have decided not to try and organise another show at Xmas. (Just a small rant)
I'm doing the Harrogate Spring Flower Show and will probably be doing the Autumn Flower Show but that'll be it for me for this year anyhow.

Hello Folks. Well its about 4 weeks till Harrogate Flower Show and I'm getting some stock together (Oh why didn't I choose a hobby which doesn't take so much hard work!) I'm getting some small bears made and some (very few) big ones. I have decided to cut down on the memory bears (unless you are a previous customer) and just do one size (the most popular) which is the medium (7in thin fabric like a shirt). I'll probably do Harrogate Autumn Flower Show but the Xmas Harrogate is still up in the air. The organiser tried to get a new venue last year but I have informed him I'll not be going back there. Those who went will know why. I also have facilities for taking cards IF the machine gets replaced. I've had it on charge for 5 days now (daft I know but just want to see how long it'll take to charge up. Those SumUp adverts make it all sound so easy Ha!) Anyway enough of my wingeing. Hope to see some of you in about 4 weeks.

Hello Folks. Well just finished the substitute Xmas fair. Met some lovely folk but I will not be participating if its going to be there again. It was everybodys 1st experience of doing it there and the staff were lovely but never again. Fingers crossed for next year that we're back in out proper spot!

Well Folks my final show of the year is coming up this coming weekend at Crimple Garden Centre Harrogate. We're there due to Harrogate Council cancelling our normal venue hopefully they'll see sense next year. If you come please bear in mind that it's the venues 1st time organising it and they haven't been open long. Covid precautions are in place and they're asking if you can mask up where you can. I will be masked and am asking customers to use hand sanitizers. I did the Autumn Harrogate Flower Show and was very grateful to my customers who refrained from handing bears and used the sanitiser. I have health issues so have people I know.
Anyway Happy Christmas everybody and hope to see you next year. My application for the Spring Harrogate Flower Show has just been posted.
