Some lucky ones got these for their wedding flowers last week ❤️

The final few wholesale buckets of the year, probably! The dahlias are going great guns now that the rain has returned, as is the grass!

Really loved the movement in this one. It brought me lots of joy ❤️

The end of August ❤️ this lovely colourful one was for Karen yesterday.

I have to say that I'm very excited about seeing Autumn this year, prehaps more than ever. It's nice to hear the sound of rain again and I think the trees will be glad of it too. It's been my busiest August ever for weddings and floristry, and it's time I turned my attention back to the field. Autumn planting and planning, here I come :)

You know the bride is a good egg when she asks for blackberries in her bouquet - I think that might always be true!

This one was for lovely Chloe, who married Ben last week ❤️

And just like that, it's August. For Rhian last week - All the peachy orange sunset flowers - dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, snaps, marigolds, gomphrena, scabious.
It looks like it's going to be another hot week, this week. I've got used to just not expecting any rain. I'm anticipating an early end to the season this year - usually I try to go into mid October, but with all this heat I'm thinking the flowers will be burned out long before then - we'll see!
