Thank you for all the kind messages of support since we announced our closure of the shop. It has meant a great deal to us all!

We are now setting about the task of selling the stock, shelving and everything else before handing back the shop to our landlord.

WE ARE CLOSING

After much consideration, we need to share some difficult news. Tomorrow will be our final day of trading, with our last opening day being Saturday 31st January.

Despite the shop being offered for sale as a going concern since December, we have unfortunately been unable to find a buyer able to take it over. With great reluctance, we have made the decision to close the bookshop permanently.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful customers and colleagues for your loyalty, kindness, and support over the past seven years. It has been a privilege to serve our community, share stories, and be part of your reading lives.
