In light of the recent changes announced by the Prime Minister, we would like to assure you that our services and laboratory will still be open and providing animal health services as usual. We will continue to provide the best service we can to our customers, whilst putting the correct measures in place to protect our team. We have put together some questions and answers which may help address any queries you may have.
1. Will treatments/ or faecal egg counts be sent out early or in bulk if I am on a programme?
No we will continue to send faecal egg counts/ Equisals and treatments as normal which is approximately a week before they are due. Should there be any changes to Royal Mail services, we will then review this, but please be assured we will do everything within our powers to ensure that horses/ ponies/ donkeys do not miss essential treatments.
2. Should I send back faecal egg count samples?
Yes, please continue to send back samples as normal, and if you are on a programme – as per your programme schedule.
3. Should I still send back Equisals?
Yes, Equisal have also announced this morning, they have provisions in place to comply with the necessary requirements, but will be testing as normal.
4. Will the test results take longer to come back?
At the present time, there is no reason for results to take longer than normal to be sent out once the samples have been received by the relevant lab.
5. Will the office still be open for enquiries?
Yes our equine advisors are at the end of the telephone and email should you have any queries. Should the situation change we will of course notify you of this.
If you have any queries, or concerns, please just email or call us on 01267 223322 and we will gladly assist you.
Should any further changes be made which affect this, we will keep you informed.
Once again thank you for your patience and understanding.
