I haven't posted to Chez Nouveau for a little while. My life took an unexpected turn at the end of May and took me on a different journey.
In the space of one month from a simple routine visit to a screening unit at Morrison's car park, to being called into the Breast Centre Wales, biopsies, results, diagnosis & surgery. All over within one month. That is a pretty good shout out to the NHS and all praise goes to them from me.
The picture. No, that isnt me. It's an Ai generated picture from a photo of my face. It's how I see myself from within, the me I feel is present. I havent adapted my relationship with the mirror yet, but I will get there eventually.
The cushion, is the most heart felt gift to me from the Hospital's breast cancer unit. Made by the local WI (women's institute). Its purpose, is to place the top of the cushion under your arm in order to keep the Weight of your arm from your wound, in order to heal. So much love ❤️
This change in my life has not weakened me, it has only made me stronger. I am already thinking of ways that I can repay and support the community that has helped me through.
I will be back to posting on chez nouveau again soon, maybe a slight change in my products too. Time will tell.
