With Doof In The Park 2026 fast approaching, I thought I would finally post about this stencil It was used for the water gun graphics and it was brilliant seeing the finished result end up in the hands of . Funny where workshop jobs can end up. A simple tool that helps bring someone else’s idea to life.

A wee Carnoustie story.

There’s a path locally that people have started calling Bricknal Lane, named after the man who gives up his time to keep the area tidy and well looked after.

The signs that marked it had been stolen, so I made a couple of replacements and put them back up.

Nice to do something small for the local community now and then.

From sheet material to a shoal of fish.

These started as a single sheet of cardboard before being precisely cut into identical shapes using our CO₂ laser.

Laser cutting cardboard is brilliant for craft projects, prototypes and batch production where consistency matters.

The “No Juice” slogan refers to training and building strength without performance-enhancing substances. A fun design for a brand connected to the natural bodybuilding community.

Nice simple engraving but the wood grain on this board really makes it pop.

Oak veneer narrowboat porthole b**g.

Not something I make every day 😅 but that’s the joy of bespoke work.

This one was precision cut to fit a specific canal boat interior. Every boat is different, so measurements were taken to ensure a tight, clean fit within the existing surround.

Random projects like this keep the workshop interesting.
