Good Afternoon.

The 206 Sqn Official Swag Shop is now open again with all our current and new 🐙 merch. 💪 🥳

Stock update:

The Dutch b**r style A400M patches are now sold out and we have less than 10 of the C-17 ones left.

Stock levels of our new Hudson, Mach Loop and Atlas Force patches are also quite low. The Mach Loop and Atlas force patches will not get restocked - once they have gone, they’re gone! 🫣

We are still reeling from how good the Battle of Britain show was at Imperial War Museum Duxford last weekend!

The Big Wing simply blew us away, it was an honour to be there with thousands of others enjoying the unique spectacular and awesome sound of 11 Spitfires, 1 Seafire and 5 Hurricanes.

Thank you everyone that visited us this weekend, it’s been a pleasure to chat to and meet you all.

A big thank you to Imperial War Museum Duxford and the air show commentary team. You certainly made us feel most welcome. 🙏

We will be taking a break and a stock take, so our online shop will be closed until Monday 28th September. 🫣

Battle of Britain Air Show today.

How amazing was that big wing?!

A massive thank you to everyone that visited our stand and who engaged and threw questions galore at us all day. It’s been our absolute pleasure and getting the squadrons presence and Test and Evaluation role out there is our mission!

Also a big thank you to the Duxford commentary team for highlighting 206 Squadron today, it’s great to be here.

For those coming tomorrow please come and find us down at the Eastern End next to the Army Air Corps stand and the huge Number 1 Hangar.

So what did 206 Squadron do during the Battle of Britain I hear you ask?!

206 Squadron in March 1940 traded its Avro Anson aircraft in for Lockheed Hudsons and were flying out of RAF Bircham Newton in Norfolk, not too far from Duxford.

Flying for the Royal Air Force Coastal Command, 206 was responsible for Maritime reconnaissance patrols, Anti Submarine missions and engaging aircraft over the North Sea.

In our 110th year and in recognition of the Squadrons service for RAF Coastal Command we have produced a limited patch run featuring the Lockheed Hudson.

This will be available at this weekends Duxford Battle of Britain show, any remaining stock will go on sale next week on the 206 Swag website.
