Botanika Antiques is sorry to announce the sad demise of 'Botty', The Botanika Antiques Rocking Horse. Botty was sixty years old and had spent many of his early years giving much joy to children. Since his retirement he had joined Botanika Antiques on the advertising and promotion team and, occasionally, giving rides to young children on their way home from school.
Sadly, at 10 am this morning, 'Botty' was run over by a van whilst standing outside of the White Hart. He was badly hurt and is now only fit for 'flat' racing. His hopes for being put out to stud have been dashed although he may be melted down and made into studs.
'Botty' will lie in state at 'Botanika by the Hart' until the recycling team arrive. No flowers please
