I'm sorry it has been a while since I posted any updates or new pictures. It has been a busy time with opening the new shop, My Thyme & Friends. The shop is now into its second week and what a fantastic first week we had with some amazing feedback from customers and visitors. We stock work from a number of incredibly talented artists, photographers and crafters all residing in Dumfries & Galloway, as well as a selection of My Thyme's own products. If you haven't been to see us yet, please pop in and say hi. We are at 120 King Street in Castle Douglas, a couple of doors down from In House Chocolates, next door to Joe the Cobblers (on the left) and the small Corsons Bakers (on the right). Kevin manages the shop and Gallery and My Thyme's soap kitchen/workshop is based at the back of the shop. Kevin has set up a separate page for My Thyme & Friends where he regularly posts pictures so please take a look. You can still place orders through Private Message here or via the shop which can also be collected from the shop or delivered by arrangement. We also have an additional room which is currently being used as a Gallery. It is booked out for a few months throughout the year but there are still some availabilities should you wish to make enquiries with Kevin at the shop.
For those who live locally in Dumfries & Galloway I have also now finished my Diploma in Herbalism and eagerly await my results. If I have passed (so fingers and toes crossed), which I will update you on as soon as I know; I will be a qualified Practitioner/Therapist in Herbalism and will start to bring more holistic products into the My Thyme range and offer Treatment Consultations. I am also undertaking a Diploma in Holistic Pain Management and plan to set up support groups for anyone who is interested in a Holistic Approach to Pain Management. This is for anyone experiencing Physical Pain or Emotional Pain. Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in. In the meantime I would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and custom. ...sorry for the long ramble :-)
