‘Adopt a chick’ was such a cute workshop today. We made chicken hats, miniature egg boxes, decorated a chicken coop, discussed how to feed and look after our new chicks, and had a little certificate ceremony with the parents. All our lovely plushie chicks are away to their new homes tonight. I hope Lucy’s chick got lasagne for dinner!!! 🐥

Children’s Easter craft classes
Week 1 of the Easter holidays.
A few old favourite classes are on the schedule (ie slime) and a few new classes Have a go at squishy-making and also create some lovely Easter eggs, bunnies and chicks using mini mosaic tiles.
Scan the QR code to book, drop off your kids, grab some treats from on our Hezlett House site, and get a brisk beach walk once this sleet and hail disappears!!
We will have some classes on Week 2 also. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

At Just Jemima studio we are still rolling out the Labubu parties….. those little furry gremlin/furby style monsters that kids either love or hate!
Wr had 2 fabulous Labubu parties at the weekend with 2 more colourful cakes. We had paint, glitter and cake crumbs everywhere!!
If you want a particular theme for your party I can usually create a bespoke design providing I have enough notice …it’s this part of activity planning that takes a lot of time.
Easter workshops are also being launched soon. 🐣

A very ‘capy’ birthday to Maia!
Our first party today was capybara-themed.
Having seen some capybaras last week, I think they are definitely cuter in teddy form!!!
Today we had amazing cakes….. check out this ‘tall tower of Pisa’ capybara cake!! Well done mama for cutting it so skilfully!!

It’s the weekend and I’m party ready!
The studio has had a mini makeover inspired by my recent trip to Peru. 🇵🇪
Posting a few snippets for the gram!! (so hard to only pick a few photos)
Llamas and alpacas, pom-poms, tassels, textile garlands, colourful Inca women everywhere. Their beautifully embroidered clothing is exquisite. Hiked up Machi Picchu and had perfect visibility, ate some alpaca, resisted the guinea pig though!! Went to weaving and pottery workshops, bought baby alpaca wool straight from source from the lovely Inca women’s co-operative.
We met Paddington both in Lima and Aqua Calientes. Went to the Amazon - up the river and into the jungle for a couple of nights. Slept to the sound of howler monkeys and macaws in the heat and humidity, then to Lima for our final night with our lovely group. Thankful to be home. Exhausted but full of memories.
So be prepared for lots of pompom, llama and Paddington crafts coming up over Easter.

Half-term is almost here.
Join us for our Hearts & Crafts classes.
Morning session is 10-12noon. Aimed at aged 4-7. Older siblings can attend this session.
Afternoon is 1-3pm and suitable for age 8-14.
We have new activities for this week and an exciting craft menu to choose from.
Additionally, each day will be different.
Each session is £20 per child and booking is via www.justjemima.com or scan the QR code on this post.

Have a crafty birthday party with Just Jemima either in our craft studio in Castlerock, or in your home or venue.
I’ve now opened my bookings diary up as far as June. At the moment, if you would like a specific date, you may need to book a few months in advance. Once your deposit is paid, then your booking is confirmed.
Just a new 2026 housekeeping measure to make life a little easier when a particular date is popular. 🎂 🥳 🎈

We are all ready for a week of pumpkins, hedgehogs, slime, resin, and not forgetting k-pop!!! 🎵 🎃
We have sold out of several classes so this post has the classes where we have spaces left.
Book your kids in using the QR code.
The farm shop onsite will also be open from Wednesday-Sunday for all your cakes, coffee and farm produce.
There will also be a secondhand book fair in The Dairy building onsite from Thursday-Sunday
Drop off your kids, grab some farm goodies and browse the books.
