It’s not too late to book your place at the Caterham B**r Festival! 🍻

This weekend is the 12th annual Caterham B**r Festival, and the team are going all out to ensure it’s the best one yet!

Hosted by the Caterham Round Table at Soper Hall, this year’s event will feature over 60 varieties of beers, ales, la**rs, and ciders, alongside a w**e and spirits bar. Enjoy live music and savour delicious hot food available throughout the festival

The Caterham B**r Festival is a community celebration, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and good causes. Since its inception in 2013, the Caterham B**r Festival has raised over £150,000 to support local initiatives

The Festival is running from tonight, Friday 11th September, to 11pm on Saturday 12th September

Ticket prices range from £6.50 for the Saturday afternoon session to £20 for unlimited access across all sessions on both days. Check out the Caterham Round Table website to book your tickets (link in bio)

Overnight works will be taking place on Croydon Road shortly 🚦

From 14 September to 3 October, overnight works will be taking place on Croydon Road to complete the remaining elements of the improvement project

From 14 to 26 September, there will be temporary traffic lights in place from 8pm to 6am between Colin Road and the Station Avenue roundabout. This will be followed by overnight road closures from 28 September to 3 October on Croydon Road, Station Avenue and the roundabout at the junction of Station Avenue and Godstone Road

Caterham Cafe & Bistro has been refurbished and now looks better than ever! ☕️

To celebrate their reopening, we spoke to Enis from the wonderful family at the heart of Caterham Cafe, who shared their story:

“Our story started back in 2018, when our dad first stepped into the kitchen as a chef at Caterham Cafe.

Not long after, at just 13 years old, I started helping out as a part-time waiter during the summer. What began as a summer job slowly became a much bigger part of our lives.

Over the years, our family of four became more and more involved. We went from working here, to becoming partners, and eventually to becoming the sole owners and managers of the café we had spent years helping to build.

Last month marked the beginning of our biggest chapter yet. We completely renovated the café and transformed it into Caterham Cafe & Bistro — keeping the traditional breakfasts and café favourites our customers know us for, while expanding into brunch, lunches, grills, drinks and much more.

A lot has changed since 2018, but one thing hasn’t: we’re still a family-run business, and you’ll still find us here every day doing what we love.

To everyone who has supported us over the years — and everyone just discovering us — thank you.

A new Japanese restaurant is opening soon on Godstone Road, brought to you by the team behind the very popular Toriton Izakaya in Coulsdon
