Something exciting could be coming to Moretonhampstead… ♻️
You may have heard it through the grapevine!
We’re exploring the possibility of transforming the old newsagents opposite the Co-op into a vibrant community reuse hub, giving local people a place to donate unwanted items, shop affordably, reduce waste and support a more sustainable future.
But this isn’t a done deal yet.
To make the project a reality, we need to raise the funds required to get the space up and running. The good news is that we’ve already raised over £6,000 towards our £15,000 target, thanks to the incredible support we’ve received so far.
Behind the scenes, we’re busy filming and preparing our community crowdfunding campaign, which we’ll be launching soon. The campaign will give everyone the opportunity to help bring this exciting project to life.
We’re looking to build a team of supporters before the launch. If you’d be willing to help by sharing posts online, delivering leaflets, displaying a poster, telling friends and neighbours about the project, or supporting the campaign in any other way, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, we can create something really special for Moretonhampstead.
