It will soon be time to CLOSE our CAVALEX CLASS 47 Pre Orders. We need to let CAVALEX know by 10th August 2026. We cannot say that we will be in a position to obtain further models, once the Pre Orders are placed.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTIFICATION

CADENT are Closing HILL ROAD from 27/07/2026 until 25/08/2025, to undertake changes to the local gas supplies.

Access to our shop will still be available from NAVIGATION ROAD via BYRON ROAD and SANDFORD ROAD as normal.

Depending on the extent of their works, you maybe able to go from NAVIGATION ROAD up QUEENS ROAD up to TRINITY ROAD - turn RIGHT towards our Shop.

We are told that Diversion signs will be in place.

UPDATE: 03/08/2026.

Change of PLANS. TRAFFIC CONTROL is now operating on Springfield Park Road too - up to FOUR WEEKS. However, we are STILL OPEN whilst gas works are ongoing on Hill Road and Springfield Park Road. Buses are now using QUEENS ROAD instead of Hill Road

HELJAN

Has been purchased by Acurascale, but in a nutshell what does that mean.

All Heljan previous Pre- Orders have been cancelled, so will have to be ORDERED DIRECT from Accurascale.

All Retailers were given the same notification at the same time as the Public.

Very sorry but this means that anyone whom pre-ordered Heljan items, including thir planned TT:120 items these will not be despatched to us or any other Retailer.

Accurascale have stated that they are in the process of re-pricing att items.

Obviously we do have a few 00 and 0 Gauge items in stock. But once they are sold there will be no more available from ourselves

Hornby DP1 in both DC and DCC Sound versions are now in our Shop.

Following from CAVALEX, today we also had the HORNBY DRAX golden Class 66 and Hopper. The boxes really stand out in their Gold & Purple hues.

Normal Opening Days and Times recommence on Friday 2nd January 2026.
