HELJAN

Has been purchased by Acurascale, but in a nutshell what does that mean.

All Heljan previous Pre- Orders have been cancelled, so will have to be ORDERED DIRECT from Accurascale.

All Retailers were given the same notification at the same time as the Public.

Very sorry but this means that anyone whom pre-ordered Heljan items, including thir planned TT:120 items these will not be despatched to us or any other Retailer.

Accurascale have stated that they are in the process of re-pricing att items.

Obviously we do have a few 00 and 0 Gauge items in stock. But once they are sold there will be no more available from ourselves

Hornby DP1 in both DC and DCC Sound versions are now in our Shop.

Following from CAVALEX, today we also had the HORNBY DRAX golden Class 66 and Hopper. The boxes really stand out in their Gold & Purple hues.

Just a reminder to Customers Old, New and those we are yet to meet.

As of Tuesday 23rd December 2026 we are now CLOSED until Saturday 27th December.

We will also be CLOSED on Wednesday 31st December and Thursday 1st January 2026.

Normal Opening Days and Times recommence on Friday 2nd January 2026.

Unfortunately we will be unable to attend this coming weekends Chelmsford Model Railway Exhibition. This is not how we wanted things to be, but our Family has to take First Place.

Our Shop will still be open, if you are coming to Chelmsford.

We wish Chelmsford & District MRC every success with their Exhibition.

UPDATE: 14/10/2025. Many Thanks to our “Saturday Boy”, there will be a small John Dutfield Stand at the Exhibition. He has a wealth of experience, so are most grateful for him stepping in. CASH ONLY at the Exhibition, though we can offer similar to Mail Order if Purchases are Telephoned through to the Shop whilst at the Exhibition.
