βοΈπ Help Your Flowers Stay Beautiful for Longer πβοΈ
Fresh flowers can bring so much colour and happiness into the home, but during hot summer weather they can sometimes need a little extra care. πΈ
To help your cut flowers stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible, there are a few simple things you can do.
πΏ Keep your flowers somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight, radiators, and hot windows.
π§ Check the water regularly, especially during warmer weather, and replace it with fresh, clean water when needed.
βοΈ Trim a little from the bottom of the stems at an angle to help them absorb water effectively.
πΈ Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline, as these can encourage bacteria to develop.
π Try to keep your flowers away from the fruit bowl too, as ripening fruit releases ethylene gas which can cause some cut flowers to age more quickly.
And most importantly, enjoy them! π
