🌸💐 There’s Something Special About Giving Flowers 💐🌸

People give flowers for so many different reasons. To say I love you, thank you, congratulations, I’m thinking of you, or sometimes simply to make someone smile. ❤️

What makes flowers so special is the feeling behind them.

Receiving an unexpected bouquet can brighten an ordinary day. Flowers can help us celebrate wonderful news, show appreciation, offer comfort, or express emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

And every bouquet has its own story. It might mark a birthday, a new baby, an anniversary, a new home, a personal achievement, or simply a moment when someone thought, “They deserve something lovely.” 🌷

At Cheltenham & Gloucester Flowers, we love being a small part of those special moments, providing fresh flowers that help you say exactly what you want to say.

Because flowers may not last forever, but the feeling of receiving them can be remembered for a very long time. 💕

💐 Whatever you’d like to say, let us help you say it with flowers.

🌸🍂 September’s Birth Flowers: Aster & Morning Glory 🍂🌸

☀️💐 Help Your Flowers Stay Beautiful for Longer 💐☀️

Fresh flowers can bring so much colour and happiness into the home, but during hot summer weather they can sometimes need a little extra care. 🌸

To help your cut flowers stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible, there are a few simple things you can do.

🌿 Keep your flowers somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight, radiators, and hot windows.

💧 Check the water regularly, especially during warmer weather, and replace it with fresh, clean water when needed.

✂️ Trim a little from the bottom of the stems at an angle to help them absorb water effectively.

🌸 Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline, as these can encourage bacteria to develop.

🍎 Try to keep your flowers away from the fruit bowl too, as ripening fruit releases ethylene gas which can cause some cut flowers to age more quickly.

And most importantly, enjoy them! 💕

At Cheltenham & Gloucester Flowers, we love helping you get the most from your flowers. Whether you're treating yourself or choosing a beautiful bouquet for someone special, our team is always happy to offer advice on caring for your blooms.

💐 Pop in and see us to discover our latest fresh and seasonal flowers.
