📣 STAY & PLAY IS BACK! 🧸☕️

Our Stay & Play sessions return on Tuesday 8th September, and we’re looking forward to welcoming families back to Springbank!

Designed for parents and carers with children aged 0–4, Stay & Play is a relaxed, friendly space where little ones can play, explore and socialise, while grown-ups have the opportunity to meet other local families and enjoy a cuppa.

🎄 CHRISTMAS CAKE ORDERS ARE BACK! 🎄

We know it might feel a little early to be talking about Christmas, but we need plenty of time to order our ingredients and prepare each cake,so our annual Christmas cake ordering is now open!

Choose from homemade fruit or chocolate Christmas cakes, with gluten-free options also available:

🍰 Small 5-inch cake – £15
🍰 Large 8-inch cake – £25

Orders can be collected free of charge or delivered for an additional £5. Cakes can be ready on 22nd, 23rd or 24th December, with other December dates available on request.

Cake orders will close on Friday 13th November, so please order early to avoid disappointment.

💚THE SPRINGBANK FIVER 💚

We started with £2.

Then £3.

Last week, we asked for £4.

Now, for the final week of our Fund a Little. Change a Lot. campaign, we're asking our community one simple question:

Is Springbank worth a fiver to you?

Every week, Springbank Community Group CiC supports children, young people, families and individuals across our community.

Through youth clubs and outreach.
Through our Community Food Pantry.
Through our Community Café.
Through holiday programmes, activities, trips and experiences.
Through simply being there when somebody needs somewhere to turn.

Much of what we provide is free or heavily subsidised because we don't believe someone's financial circumstances should determine whether they can access support or opportunities.

But we can't do that alone.

So we're not asking one person for £5,000.

We're asking whether 1,000 people will give us £5.

💚 10 fivers = £50
💚 100 fivers = £500
💚 500 fivers = £2,500
💚 1,000 fivers = £5,000

Imagine what £5,000 reinvested into our community could help make possible.

🌟 A very proud Springbank moment! 🌟

We are delighted to share that our very own Evie received a High Commendation in the Young Hero category at the BBC Radio Gloucestershire Awards! 🎉

Evie gives up her Friday evenings, as well as parts of her school holidays, to support other young people through Springbank Community Group CiC. She brings enthusiasm, kindness and commitment to everything she does and has become a valued part of our youth work team.

For a young person to choose to give their own time to help create positive experiences for others is something really special, and we couldn't think of a more fitting recognition.

Evie, we are incredibly proud of you. Congratulations on your High Commendation – very well deserved! 💚👏

💚 THE PEOPLE BEHIND SPRINGBANK:£4 💚

Week 1 was £2.
Week 2 was £3.

This week, we're asking for £4.

But this week isn't really about the money. It's about the people.

Behind everything Springbank Community Group CiC does are people who care deeply about our community.

Youth Workers creating safe spaces where young people can talk, laugh, learn and simply be themselves.

Volunteers giving their time to support our Community Food Pantry and Café.

Staff listening to families, responding when someone needs help and finding ways to say “yes, we can help” whenever possible.

And young people themselves — bringing energy, ideas, personalities and talents into our projects and reminding us why this work matters.

Springbank isn't simply a building or a collection of projects.

It's people supporting people.

Your £4 helps us continue creating the spaces, activities, opportunities and support that bring those people together.

And once again, a little can quickly become a lot.
