🌍✈️ There’s still time to sign up for Peace Camp 2026… and we’re looking for young people aged 14–17 to join us! 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇵🇱🇫🇷

Spend a week making friends from across Europe, trying new experiences, and representing Cheltenham on an unforgettable international youth exchange 🤝🌎

☕🍰 FUNDRAISING AFTERNOON TEA FOR PEACE CAMP 2026 🌍💙

Join us for an afternoon of delicious food, great company and community spirit while helping us raise funds for Peace Camp 2026.

📅 Saturday 27th June
🕐 Arrival from 1:00pm
📍 Springbank Community Café
💷 £12.50 per person

Your afternoon tea will include:

🥪 A selection of sandwiches
🍰 Homemade cakes and sweet treats
🍓 Freshly baked scones with jam and cream
☕ Unlimited tea and coffee

Every ticket sold helps support local young people to take part in Peace Camp 2026, an international youth exchange bringing together young people from Cheltenham, Göttingen (Germany) and Toruń (Poland).

Through cultural exchange, friendship and shared experiences, participants develop confidence, independence and a greater understanding of the world around them.

Peace Camp has been changing the lives of young people for decades, but programmes like this can only happen through fundraising, sponsorship and community support.

By joining us for afternoon tea, you'll be helping to create opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime.

⚠️ Community Notice ⚠️

Over the last few weeks, we have noticed a number of incidents involving shoplifting from our Community Café.
Following a review of our CCTV footage, the individual responsible is clearly identifiable.

We are therefore issuing this as our one and only warning. Should any further incidents occur, we will have no option but to report the matter to the police and provide the relevant evidence.

Our Community Café is not a large commercial business. It is a community resource run for the benefit of local people, with any income generated helping to support the wider work of Springbank Community Group CiC.

Every item taken without payment directly impacts our ability to provide affordable food and drink, support volunteers, and deliver services that benefit the local community.

We sincerely hope this message is enough to prevent any further incidents. We would much rather focus our time and resources on supporting our community than dealing with theft.

Thank you to the vast majority of our customers who continue to support us honestly and respectfully. ❤️

We are looking forward to seeing our returning stay and players or any newbies that wish to join us this morning.

We meet in the cafe space at Springbank Community Group CiC between 9.30am and 11.00am.

There's a coffee included for the parents and snacks for the small ones.
