Let’s talk you through how you would attach your air jacket to your saddle with Michael from

One of the most common mistakes riders make is attaching their air jacket lanyard to the D-rings on the saddle…

❌ But here’s the important bit - don’t.

D-rings could easily break away in a fall, which means your air jacket may not deploy correctly when you need it most.

✅ Instead, always attach your air jacket to the saddle attachment which goes on via the stirrup bars.

It’s a small change that makes a BIG difference to your safety.
