👗 Sustainable Fashion Week starts on Saturday! 💚

We’re asking you to dig deep into your wardrobe and find just one item you no longer wear that you would genuinely love to discover on a charity shop shelf.

It could be men’s, women’s or children’s clothing, shoes or accessories – as long as it’s clean, in good condition and something someone else will be excited to find.

So, what’s hiding at the back of your wardrobe? A brilliant jacket? A gorgeous handbag? A pair of barely-worn shoes? A children’s outfit that’s been outgrown?

Give it a second life and help support pets in need at Cheltenham Animal Shelter. 🐾

Drop off your donations at one of our charity shops and help make fashion more sustainable while raising vital funds for animals in our care.
📍 Gardners Lane, Cheltenham, GL51 9JW
📍 25 Winchcombe Street, Cheltenham, GL52 2LZ

Don't forget to call in to see us and discover what exciting items have been donated!

Join our on-site Charity Shop Volunteer Team! 🐾

Do you have a few hours to spare and want to make a real difference for animals in need?

Our on-site charity shop in Gardners Lane is looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. We have a variety of shifts available throughout the week (morning or afternoon) plus Saturday shifts from 11am–3pm.

Since opening in 2013, our on-site shop has raised over £820,000 to help pets in need – and with your support, we can continue making a difference.

Volunteering with us is a rewarding way to:
✨ Build your CV – gain experience in retail, customer service and teamwork
✨ Develop new skills – improve communication, organisation and problem-solving
✨ Make a difference – support a cause that helps animals every day
✨ Meet new people – become part of our friendly volunteer community
No previous experience is needed – full training will be provided.

If you have a few hours to spare and would like to become a valued member of our team, we’d love to hear from you!

Visit our website to complete an application form ⭐ www.gawa.org.uk/work-with-us ⭐ or email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Volunteers Needed – Winchcombe Street Charity Shop 🐾⭐

We're looking for two friendly volunteers to join the team at our Winchcombe Street Charity Shop. The shifts are 9:30am – 1:30pm or 1:30pm – 5:30pm on Fridays.

If you have a few hours to spare each week, you could help us raise vital funds for the animals in our care while becoming part of a welcoming and supportive team.

No previous retail experience is needed – we'll provide full training and support. As a volunteer, you'll help serve customers, sort and display donations, keep the shop looking its best, and play an important role in supporting Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

If you can help fill one of these much-needed volunteer roles, we'd love to hear from you - your time really will make a difference to homeless animals.

🌱 Plants now available at our on-site Charity Shop! 🌱

A wonderful supporter has kindly donated a fantastic range of garden plants, now available to buy in our on-site charity shop! With prices ranging from just £1 to £5, they're a great way to brighten up your garden while supporting animals in need.

These plants won't be around for long, so pop in and see what treasures you can find!

🌼 Can you help us keep our plant stall blooming?
Plants are always incredibly popular with our customers, and we're always grateful for donations of healthy plants, seedlings, cuttings, and surplus garden plants.

🪴 We're also in need of empty plant pots of all sizes so we can pass them on to supporters who kindly grow and donate plants for us to sell.

If you'd like to donate plants or spare pots, please drop them into our charity shop. Every donation helps us raise vital funds for the animals in our care. 🐾

Please see below for the Easter opening times for both of our charity shops.

We’d also like to kindly remind everyone that we are only able to accept donations during our opening hours. This is because we need our team on-site to safely receive, sort, and store items appropriately.

Unfortunately, any donations left outside when we are closed can become damaged by weather, pose a health and safety risk, and may no longer be suitable for us to use or sell. For these reasons, we kindly ask that nothing is left outside either shop.

We really appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter!
