I do so may pop ups now that I sometimes forgot to take a picture 🙈 so I’ve cheated and used one from a few weeks ago. This is at New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City, where I was today.

I pop up here 1-2 times a month and meet lots of wonderful patients, families and staff passing by. Everyone always says how lovely it is to see me there with my books and I’ve even had people return just for me without even needing to be at the hospital! ♥️📚

As a thank you for having me I make a donation to the hospital charity so it’s a win, win, win - for the hospital, my customers and for me!

Had a wonderful morning today at SPINS Pre-Schools Easter party 🐣

This is the fourth year they’ve invited me and it is always a pleasure to meet the lovely families and share my beautiful books.

The amazing ladies at SPINS set up some gorgeous activities for the kids too including play doh, arts and crafts, face painting and even a visit from the Easter Bunny!!

As a thank you I made a donation to the playgroup towards all the lovely resources they need to buy ❤️

Sorry, no pics of the Easter party set up as there were so many kids and I only remembered to take pics of my stall at the end when I was tidying away 🙈🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Here I am day on 2 of 3 at Verde building in London Victoria. I was invited here just before Christmas after attending another office and it went down so well with everyone they asked me to come back!

Hopefully this will be a regular thing throughout the year with us planning for me to come back in the summer and then again before Christmas.

The staff love being able to look through my books, ask questions and get personal recommendations. I get so many comments about how nice it is to be able to look through the books rather than order online.

And soooo many people know and love Usborne books which is obviously a delight!

Back here at my monthly pop up at Action Tots at Wodson Park - I come to Wodson Park on one Thursday and one Friday of every month to meet the families who attend Action Tots and Messy Monsters aswell as any other lovely customers attending classes or using the gym the sports centre.

As a thank you I gift a bunch of books to the toddler group at the end of each term.

If you haven’t already tried the kids groups then definitely come and give them a go - I used to bring my boys here when they were small and they LOVED it! They cater for crawling babies up to 5 years old and there are mini gymnastics and movement classes and messy play classes too. All based at Wodson Park Sports and Leisure Centre in Ware.

First Book Fair delivery today from my recent World Book Day events!!

Sheredes Primary school have all these wonderful books being handed out to families today who purchased books and you want to know the best bit?

All of their purchases resulted in £1061.78 of free books for the school!! 🙌🏻📚

The school are busy choosing all of the wonderful free books they would like so I’ll share some pictures with you once I have them.

This was my third year in a row at Lime Academy Larkswood offering books to all classes at a discount. I’m usually so engrossed in the books side of things that I completely forget to dress up until I see all their amazing costumes!!

This year I remembered!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I know it’s not creative at all but I’m just impressed I remembered at all! 🤣🤣

I had such a lovely time and the kids were brilliant as always. It’s so heartwarming seeing how excited they are about my books and the kindness I see from the children just makes my day ❤️

Good Luck to Christ Church C of E Primary School & Nursery who launched their Ready Steady Read yesterday.

The children have been challenged to read as much as possible over the next two weeks and ALL the sponsorship raised will be used by the school to buy new books for their classroom libraries.

Usborne will then donate up to 60% on top for free!!

I had a special visitor today at one of my many book fairs this week - Lucy from Head Office who is the Head of Sales and Marketing for the division that all of us independent partners come under called Usborne Community Partnerships. Lucy is basically our main connection back to Usborne and she ensures we are all informed and supported as independent business owners.

Having Lucy alongside me today was really lovely and it was great to show her some of the things I do a bit differently. It was also a fantastic opportunity to get some extra product knowledge on some of the books 😃

It is so fabulous to be able to run my own business and be completely independent, but also feel so supported and part of a team at the same time ❤️

I’m still here!

And much to the dismay of my husband, this was my front room earlier this week! 😂😂

I had a little break from social media as I was personally finding it a bit much doing that and physically working. I then had a bit of a mental block about it so I decided to just leave it until I was ready. I’m now ready.

Christmas was a CRAAAAAAAZY time!

I had back to back events for weeks at Offices, Hospitals, Toddler groups, Christmas markets and fetes and schools. It was wonderful, but also A LOT!

I had a little rest in Jan, catching up with admin and getting on top of some stuff in my house that had been neglected over Christmas.

Now it’s our “Second Christmas” - World Book Day.

I was already at a school for 2 days this week and I’m at 4 more next week! 😱
