Something a little different this time...

Stitched this portrait on linen for this lovely couple's 4th wedding anniversary and I am a little bit in love with how it turned out!

Normally cotton wedding anniversaries are more my jam but what do we think? Does linen need to be a permanent addition to the range?

May I suggest giving the beers, socks and 'gag' cards a miss this Father's Day and get him something unique that will bring a smile to his face?

We've all got those people on our lists. You know the ones.
We love them dearly, of course, but they're a NIGHTMARE to buy for.

The ones who say 'oh don't worry about me!' or the ones who you just can't buy yet another box of chocolates for.

Well I have the answer to your woes! You literally cannot go wrong with a personalised gift - they're guaranteed not to have one just like it already and it shows you've taken the time to think about them. Winner.

I know, I know. It feels early. Our pumpkins are still on the windowsill and there's still fireworks going off outside. But! We small businesses need a little time to craft your orders.

So, if you want to be our very favourite customers this year, get your orders in nice and early. Plus then you get the added smug bonus of being able to put your feet up, knowing those tricky family member gifts are in the bag.

I've had a few new friends join us over here of late, so it seems like a good time to (re)introduce myself...

I'm Laura, chief cross-stitcher in charge here at Scarlet Pyjamas. I started this business of mine over a decade ago, when pondering unique Christmas present ideas for my friends and family - cut to now and my portraits now hang in homes all over the world, from New York to New Zealand, which blows my mind!

Crafter and small business owner is not the only hat I wear these days (though honestly, do any of us only wear one hat?) - I'm a graphic designer (come say hi over ) and a mam to two redheaded firecrackers who keep me very busy indeed.

It was all about the Witcher for me - and Henry Cavill's last ride as Geralt. It'll be very strange when a new face takes his place, but as long as my beloved Jaskier sticks around, so will I...

I've been saving Good Omens season 2 as a palate cleanser after getting stuck into the Witcher - but after seeing a lot of distraught people on TikTok, I feel I've made an error! Am I going to get my feelings hurt? 😬

Either way, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in with Crowley and Aziraphale again. Have you watched it yet?

Happy Thursday everyone - incase you’re not following along with my takeover on the page, I thought I’d share this glorious sight here too!

I’m not stitching today, instead I’m getting my supplies in order ready to restock my embroidery floss. Not going to lie, this box of rainbows makes me very happy indeed! I can definitely spy some gaps though, so a trip to the haberdashery is in order today…
