We understand the value of Hospice Care through personal experience so we have been honoured to provide the flowers for your fundraising campaign and do what we can to help as many people as possible get the benefit from being able to make a personalised dedication to their loved one. Thanks to the kindness of Red Dragon Metals we are able to continue accepting Forget me not flowers until the 16th July, meaning anyone who hasn't yet dedicated a flower in memory of there loved one, still can 💜

In just two weeks, our forget-me-not tribute campaign will bloom at Kirkleatham Walled Gardens, a beautiful space filled with love, memories and the names of those we’ll never forget.

If you’ve dedicated a flower, we warmly invite you to join us and see your handcrafted forget‑me‑not displayed among hundreds of heartfelt tributes. It will be a truly special moment of reflection and remembrance.

Every flower that has been dedicated as part of this campaign can support our hospice to help cover the cost of an hour’s usage of a bed on our In‑Patient Unit, providing comfort, dignity and peace during a patient’s final moments.

For families like Mary and Sophie’s, that care meant everything: “It was Biff’s wish to die at Teesside Hospice, and he did with all of us around him holding a part of him. If he hadn’t come to the hospice, we would have lost him sooner. We’re forever grateful for everything it gave our family.

Our forget‑me‑not has Dad’s name on it, but it also represents the hospice… we’ll never forget Teesside Hospice, and I know they’ll never forget us, and that’s what the flower represents to us."

This summer, we’re inviting our community to come together and remember someone special with a forget-me-not flower 💜

Our Forget Me Not Appeal has officially launched - a heartfelt campaign dedicated to honouring the memory of those we love with a lasting tribute.

For a suggested donation of £30.19, you can dedicate a handcrafted metal forget‑me‑not flower in memory of a loved one. Each flower will be engraved with your loved one’s name, and this contribution can cover the cost for an hour’s usage of a bed on our In-Patient Unit, providing essential comfort during a patient’s final moments.

As part of the appeal, you’ll be able to visit your forget-me-not displayed in a beautiful tribute at Kirkleatham Walled Gardens from Thur 23rd - Sun 26th July 2026.

Here’s how you can take part in our special appeal this summer:

Today is World Curlew Day, a chance to celebrate one of Britain’s most distinctive birds, the Eurasian curlew.

With its long curved beak and haunting call, the curlew has been part of our countryside for generations. Sadly, it is now in decline, which makes days like this all the more important.

We created our metal Curlew Fence Topper as a simple tribute to this incredible bird. A striking silhouette that stands proud on a fence, gate post or wall.

We are also proud to support the work of Wader Quest, helping to raise awareness and protect wading birds like the curlew.

Sometimes the light just hits right. 🤩

The tools used to bring my flowers to life are not exotic. I could make some press tooling to speed things up but I feel that would remove the individual character of each petal. My methods ensure that no two are exactly the same. To me this is what elevates them to a true peice of art.
So, I'll pour some more coffee and carry on swinging my hammer.
