FIRST EVER CARROT (not for lack of trying). No idea how rabbits pull these up so easily, I have definitely spend more calories digging it up that it will give me return… but it will still be delicious 🧡

Beautiful day for it, albeit rather hot… I’ve inadvertently created a butterfly sanctuary - I’ve got loads of butterflies on the allotment at the moment with all the fruit about. Too many red admirals to count, a couple of commas (never seen those before!) and a couple of whites 😍
