Opening tomorrow From 7am till 8pm as normal ☀️

Due to the current hot weather and to help protect the welfare of our fish,

We'd like to remind everyone to fish responsibly in these conditions:

🎣 Keep your landing nets and unhooking mats soaking wet at all times.
🪣 Please bring a bucket so you can regularly pour water over your unhooking mat and safely care for the fish while unhooking.
🐟 Return fish to the water as quickly as possible to minimise stress.

For your own safety, please don't forget:
☀️ Plenty of suncream
💧 Lots of refreshments and drinking water
🧢 A hat and suitable clothing to stay cool

Thank you for helping us put fish welfare first. We appreciate everyone's support and cooperation during this spell of hot weather.

From today, Tarvin Sands Fisheries will be CLOSED for spawning for the next 2 weeks to give the fish time to recover and protect breeding activity.

This temporary closure helps maintain the health and quality of the fishery for everyone to enjoy throughout the season.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon with the lakes in top condition! 🐟
