August 2026 marks a big milestone as Grey n Pink Records celebrates 40 years in Chester!

For four decades the shop has been at the heart of Chester's music scene ... and we continue to bring music lovers, vinyl collectors and curious crate diggers together.

Favourite albums found, rare finds unearthed, recommendations shared.

We've been through the best of times, we've been through the worst of times. But over 40 years, we really have had a marvellous time.

Hi everyone,

Just to belatedly say a big thank you to all the organisers and everyone who attended my brother’s ‘A Gig for Paul’. ❤️
As you can see a very respectable donation was given to the Walton Centre, which will hopefully help others see the light of day again rather than the light of the pearly gates far too early in life.

Thank you to all who attended A Gig for Paul last Saturday in his memory. Thank you to all who gave their time to organise and contribute to the event, to all the wonderful artists for their performances and to the St Werburgh Centre for the venue. It was such a special night and together we raised £1700 which will be forwarded to The Walton Centre in Liverpool.
