The Yarnery is open today from 10:30 - 5:00

We’re an independent, fully stocked, lovely little yarn shop in Chester just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations.

You can find us on St James Street, right next to Brook Street car park.

WINTER IS COMING! Come and stock up on merino, cashmere, silks, cotton and vegan yarns to keep you going as the nights draw in.

Let’s get crafty together - we host drop in knitting sessions on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 12:30 - 3:30

Wednesday Morning Ho**ers anyone?

Our crochet classes are hot property and we know spaces on the Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday classes are like gold dust so the ONLY sensible remaining option is to add another session to the calendar.

10:30 - 12:30 each week in six weeks blocks. We’ll be starting these sessions on September 30th

I am so overwhelmed that she’s made this for me just because I said I’d like one 😭 Can we please take a beat do tell Carol how bloody sensational she is?

Who’s that girl? IT’S HAYLEY!

Can we all please just take a hot minute to appreciate Hayley’s latest make using Rico Design’s new Make It Pailette and Stylecraft Yarns’s bamboo cotton?

Hayley has been to a few of my crochet workshops and has recently joined us for the weekly Thursday Day sesh at The Yarnery

Good morning my little Yarny Delights!

Happy September and praise all of the gods that summer is now behind us and we can cast on something warm #𝓢𝓸𝓻𝓻𝔂𝓝𝓸𝓽𝓢𝓸𝓻𝓻𝔂

We’re open today from 10:30 - 3:30 for yarn browsing, Tuesday Morning Ho**ers and the drop in sit and knit with the Afternoon Purlers from 12:30

Those of you that have been following my updates recently will know there are a few changes to the schedule for a little while whilst Julie is away on holiday and my daughter starts high school!

The Yarnery will be closed tomorrow Wednesday 02/09 and there will be no Morning Ho**ers on Friday 04/09

Our lovely Purler Tiina will be hosting the knitters sessions on Thursday and Friday afternoons this week and I’ll make sure she knows where the biscuits are kept to keep you all satiated.

Normal practice will resume on Saturday when we will have Morning Ho**ers and the afternoon Japanese knot bag workshop from 1:30 - there are still a couple of spaces on this for anyone who would like to join us.

Looking forward to catching up with you all soon. Until then, please enjoy this crochet bag, hooked by resident Julie, using James C. Brett Cotton Waves.
