It’s been a bit of a soggy one this week, so this evening’s sunshine is very welcome. Let’s hope it sticks around, as we’ve got lots of jobs to get done in the studio garden this weekend.

It’s always such an honour to be trusted to create farewell flowers.

This natural, seasonal tribute included cornflower, astrantia, roses, nigella, alchemilla mollis, foxgloves, philadelphus and beech and sat beautifully on a bamboo casket.

What an amazing day at the fair.

We’ve met so many lovely people, chatted with fellow creatives and visitors and enjoyed every minute of it.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall and showed their support, it really means a lot.

Lots of flowers picked today ready for the flower shed this weekend and Spital Arts fair on Saturday.

Lots of lovely flowers have headed out of the studio today. Hopefully bringing a little colour and joy to what has been a very wet day.

As much as the flowers (and gardens!) needed the rain after last week’s heat, I can’t say I’m loving this weather… but at least it makes those colours pop even more!
