As any yarn shop owner knows it’s always lovely to pop into other local yarns shop when your on your hols. I met the lovely Jo at Alnwick Yarn Company and bought some supper soft Rico Design Cashmeri luxury sock yarn. Well worth a visit if your in the area 😊

Well I did it! Not quite sure how but I did. By far the most physically gruelling thing I’ve ever done. I have lived with ME and Fibromyalgia for 18 years now and was told when I could even leave the house to expect that it wouldn’t get any better. I still struggle but because I’m stubborn, 18 years later I was able to achieve this. Myself and Dave have lost the majority of our close relatives to cancer and I’m not sure we’d have gotten through it with MacMillan’s support. We’re just £25 from our £500 target and we’ve raised that mainly due to friends and customers at the Wool Den so thank you so very very much. There’s still time to donate if you like too. *Update sorry for the confusion *
This is NOT the new Wool Den. It’s a trip out to World of Wool in Huddersfield. My new shop is nowhere near as polished as this more of a building site at the moment 😆 This was a day-off from painting, cleaning and organising the new shop. Decided to source some new bits and bobs and to plan the up and coming new season and celebrate Steph’s birthday too. Thank you World of Wool to Abby and Ross for putting up with us (at last I finally got to visit your newest shop it’s gorgeous) Glad I got to share it with you and
