This mug reunited me with a school friend I’d not seen for over 20 years.

And we’re going for a boozy lunch today 🎉🎉

We lived 5 houses apart, caught the same school bus, were in the same classes, and same group of friends.

Proper friends.

Then we went to different uni’s and in the age before mobile phones (😱) we lost touch.

Fast forward a few years (ahem, decades) and she walks into in Chesterfield where we grew up and buys this mug.

She loves it so much she looks up the maker, sees my face, says ‘OMG that’s Maria’ and BOOM, we’re messaging!

At least I *think* it was this mug she bought, I’ll ask her today ✌🏻😉🤪

I create fun gifts and cards based on weird and wonderful local sayings.

Every day is a school day and I often find new meaning in words that I’ve been saying for years… the most recent example is pillock 🤯 (take a look at my post from a few weeks ago to see it’s real meaning)

A few of you asked for a pillock definition.

Thing is, for me, it means the same as wazzock really. Although pillock is perhaps a slightly softer insult?

Like I *might dare to call my mum a pillock… but defo not a wazzock 😂🙈🤪

So I was shocked (shocked I say!) to discover the meaning of pillock, which derives from the word ‘pillicock’.

My gentle sensibilities won’t permit me to write the next bit (😉) so swipe across to see what I screen grabbed from t’internet.

It’s even in caps 😂

Pillock will never be the same again. And now I certainly can’t call my mum one 😂😂😂

New and improved! Can you spot the difference? New version on the right in this photo 🧐🧐

I’ve taken the design right out to the edges to make the text larger, and hopefully easier to read the description.

And I’ve gone for a slightly darker red, again to help make the small text easier to read.

Lots of you ask for more designs in the key rings. Sadly I just can’t fit words like buggerlugs on this tiny 5cm space 🤷🏼‍♀️

But I thought I could enlarge the ones that do fit, and hopefully improve the product…
