In our mailout this week, we are spotlighting English painter and designer Enid Marx. Best known for her industrial textile designs (including the moquette fabric for the seats on the London Underground), Marx is currently the subject of a major exhibition at Compton Verney, in a show which explores her far-reaching influence on Modern British Design. As well as undertaking commissions for the London Transport Board and the Utility Furniture scheme, she was also a prolific producer of colour linocuts and wood engravings, many of which are available on our current mail out (link in bio).

Happy Birthday , one of Britains most renowned figures of contemporary art! ❤️Pallant House Gallery is home to Roman Standard (2005), Emin’s first public art project. It lives in the courtyard garden and is often mistaken as a real bird by visitors, have you seen it yet?
