For those who have been here a while you’ll know that I had hit pause on making jewellery, but this little mini was a casting which I had tucked away and hadn’t worked on.
Why was I having a little break? Well because the world was falling apart and it felt weird for me to be in this little corner of it trying to sell things. And I was hopeful that humanity would kick in and the madness would stop but the world hasn’t exactly got itself together like I hoped it would, it’s only fallen more apart.
But here’s the thing. When the world falls apart, the cost of precious metals go up and because this is an old casting, it’s valued at its old valuation. I have absolutely no idea how much of a difference there is in casting costs at the moment, although I’m certain sure they’ve gone up.
So if you’re someone who has been waiting for me to make something again, especially a Mini, for a minimum of £10 ( depending on how many entries you want!) you could win these gorgeous little mini antlers..for considerably less than its value and considerably less than the potential updated value when I come around to getting some more cast…AND the most important bit is you’ll be doing something amazing and your donation will be going directly to people who need it the most, supporting the Gaza Soup Kitchen who are doing amazing things and providing a life line to so many.
