Now for a proper antique!

This Gaudy Welsh tea service dates to the early part of the 19th century c.1830. The Imari palette is really vibrant and I love the interiors of the cups. The set consists of 6 'quads' (that's a teacup, a coffee cup, saucer and side plate), milk jug and slop bowl and the teapot, but will split if no takers for the whole set.

Breathtakingly pretty Allerton's "Yeddo" tea set. Lavish is the word that springs to mind! Fulsome cabbage rose in the Imari palette with lashings of gold - they are spectacular!

Like a lot of china ware from the late Victorian period, the cup do not ring very brightly because of age-related, micro-crazing, which is invisible.

The design of pink flowers and grasses is typical of the naturalistic movement in art and design, which was favoured in the late 1800's.

Wonderful set by Wileman (The Foley China) & Co., which if you don't already know, later became the renowned name of Shelley - highly prized by collectors all over the world!
These trios have a footed teacup and a pattern of flower baskets and swags in red.

Great condition and all pieces ring, but please know that cups of this age will show signs of age, such as wear to the gilding and small blemishes in the glaze, but these will be minimal.

Frank Buckley was a decorator operating the Plex Street pottery in Staffordshire during the 1930s and 40s and this elegant set dates from then. The company would bring in blanks from other pottery companies, such as Tuscan, and decorate them, usually in floral or art deco style.

This set is in a beautiful duck egg blue colour, which is enhanced by heavy gilding on the foot and handles of the cup. They are quite stunning.

No damage at all, but the cups do not ring brightly because of age.
