This is a classic example of why antique emporium dealers need social media.
The shares and likes are very important for getting items like this seen.
As you walk around the emporium’s we see the display cases, but do we actually look in them.
Here we have an example that will be overlooked.
This is an album that has a few drawings in, plus a very interesting advent calendar style page in the middle.
I have only photographed a few bits will add more in the comments soon.
The question’s that we will never know the answers to.
1. Who were they ?
2. Did they survive the war?
3. Did they marry, have children?
The Christmas of 1916 would have been bleak, the battle of the Somme had just ended. Loads of families would have been finding out about the dead or wounded family.

This notice from 1927 is the “Auctions (Bidding Agreement) Act 1927. A3 size.
This is not a copy, it’s been reinforced to the back and has the odd tape repair.
