Starting Monday 24th August and finishing on Wednesday 2nd September (just in time for the start of the new school term!) 📆

No cost to take part and the more families who join in, the more extra books everyone will get on top of the ones they can choose with their sponsor money! 💶💴

With the Summer term in schools always being so busy, I haven't had chance to do much with my Usborne business recently, but I do need to share this...

The children at St Mary's School in Ruabon completed their sponsored read over the May half term holiday and raised an amazing amount of money to spend on new books for their school. 💛📚💛

Thanks to Usborne's very generous allowances on school orders this gave them over £1,800 worth of books which I have delivered today and will share photos of later 📸

I have space in my diary for sponsored reads, book fairs and bringing my pop-up shop to parents evenings in the Autumn term.

I am no longer restricted to certain days of the week as I am making the move from being employed as a teacher to being full-time self-employed with several zero hours roles where I control the hours I work 📅🖋

A huge well done to all the children at St Mary's school in Ruabon who have raised over £1,100 in their half term sponsored read. I need to work out the exact totals but this means they can now choose at least £1,760 worth of books for their money!

What a fantastic achievement 👏👏

Thank you so much to everybody who supported the children by encouraging them to read and sponsoring them.
