I’ve got to apologise in advance. The Hub is in a bit of a guddle. So much furniture has been coming in and going out at the moment. We just don’t have time to arrange it in an organised fashion. I mean, there’s great choice for you and lots of interesting stuff but it’s all a bit disorganised. We’ve been working so hard and today was a tough day but Simon and I are still friends and we think we got everyone on our list. Come see what we collected! As always, we couldn’t do this without our volunteers. You’re absolutely amazing.

Another full Hub this week. I’m particularly enjoying the coffee table pyramid (don’t worry, it’s secure) and the lovely Welsh dresser. Our volunteers are such a hard working bunch who keep the shop in order. Please don’t forget the bike sheds in the front of the shop where we have items you can offer a donation for. So many corners to look in and find treasure at the Hub. We look forward to seeing you.

A full Hub AGAIN this weekend. Lots of fantastic donations, people with some time over the holidays to do a bit of a clear out. We’ve managed to clear the aisles for good access but truely, the Hub is bursting at the seams with lots of treasures. We offer a pick up and a delivery service so if you can’t take it away today, we’ll book you in the diary. As always, our volunteers are our backbone and support us by sorting, repairing, researching and making the odd cup of tea. We couldn’t do this without them.

🎉 Exciting news from the Reuse Hub! 🎉

Today we celebrated a BIG first... our very first Gift Aid donations have been accepted and bought! 🥳♻️

We’re absolutely chuffed to be launching Gift Aid here at the Reuse Hub, and it’s a fantastic way to help us make an even bigger difference in our community. 💚

A full Hub this weekend. Lots of drawers in at the moment. I think we left them too long and they’ve been busy multiplying! Seems to be a lot of pine furniture in as well. It’s the season, maybe? Volunteers busy sorting books and bric-a-brac. Remember to check out our metal huts in the front of the Hub for ‘offer us a donation’ items. We have a lot of tiles and also plastic storage tubs, mostly without lids, mini stacking boxes…the list is endless! Our card machine is WORKING so you don’t need to remember cashola.

🎉 The card machine has finally decided to come out of retirement... and it's back up and running at the Reuse Hub! 💳

No more digging around for loose change – card payments are working again.

I’ll cut to the chase: we are FULL of furniture at the moment. The shelves are full of bric-a-brac too. Fridays have gotten to be the mad collection day, it seems. Lots of PAT tested electricals too, because Simon had a quiet afternoon. I can’t tell you how valuable our volunteers are. We couldn’t do this without your hard work.

Please be patient with us while we have no card machine. Bring cash. There is a cash machine at the co-op or you can withdraw pennies at the post office in Chirnside.
