I spent the last 6 weeks upping my CAD game and learning CAM from scratch. My test piece was a tea tray for my mums birthday. It came out well, with some room for improvement.

It was a gruelling journey, but apparently I learned a lot because with only a couple of days effort, I managed to finally model a walking stick handle (my previous issues were due to lack of tangential constraints) and created the CAM ready for my first test run.

Reclaimed oak (3”x2”s) and 20mm porcelain tiles for the shelf and worktop.

I built this as a garage for Robochop, but it will be multifunctional as a potting table or surface for collecting “stuff”.

£55 for the Oak, £40 for the tiles (delivered), a bargain and should last a lifetime 💪🏼
