One of the most rewarding parts of organising astronaut events is reading the messages people send afterwards.
People often arrive excited to meet an astronaut.
But what many remember most is the atmosphere, the conversations and the people they meet throughout the day.
One attendee recently wrote:
"I was put at ease and included from the first moment by friendly and amiable people from organisers to attendees."
That comment means the world to us.
Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment has been one of the goals behind these events from the very beginning.
Space is for everyone.

Our Condolences. Tommy was an excellent gentleman spreading joy. His smile lit up the room.

I was very sad to learn of the death of Tommy Gray today.

A good friend for many years, Tommy served the local community as both a Councillor for Euxton and Mayor of Chorley. He took great pride in these roles, carrying them out with dedication and commitment, and thoroughly enjoyed serving the community he cared so much about.

He was a loyal public servant and a genuinely kind man who will be greatly missed by many.

My thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends at this sad time.
