Some days you need to protect your ears from the cold but it's too warm for a hat. I found this myself whilst out walking yesterday - my hat was on and off, on and off, and I wished I'd taken out a headband instead. One like this, in fact 😉. It's almost the end of October and getting a tad chilly out, so let's talk about merino wool. Of all the different types of wool available, merino is considered to be the 'best'. Merino wool is a bit like olive oil in that there are various grades - whilst extra virgin olive oil is the best, extra fine merino is similarly the top grade - the best of the best. It is super soft and very few people are allergic to it. Like all wool fabrics, garments made from merino are naturally warm and wicking. They are very long-lasting and, when they do eventually reach the end of their life, are biodegradable (unlike synthetics, which can stay in landfill sites for decades).
