I’m part of 1000 musicians playing two Linkin Park songs for Uprawr, a mental health charity at the Utility Arena in Birmingham on August 18th. This is the last venue Chester played before he took his own life.

I’m asking for anyone and everyone to please donate anything they can to this fabulous cause. Even if it’s a few quid it all helps and 100% of the money goes to the charity.

Uprawr Mental Health Foundation provide free counselling and mental health services and are a registered charity in the UK (RCN 1178183).

Please help, please please donate.

Very attached to this one. First cbg since my mother in law passed away, and one of a few instruments where my youngest wants me to play to her.

New cbg. 😊 (sold).
Four string fretted, made from scrap plywood, mahogany and pine.
The idea behind this one is to make it look like a rusty tin or box.
Neck is an oak stair spindle, with corroded copper fret markers on the front, nails on the side.
The nut is carved out from a bone left over from my dog, Lucy.
Pickup is from a stripped out 70’s Japanese SG copy.
Volume and tone controls are low profile radiator keys.
Jack plate is new and has had my ‘treatment’ 🙂
Bridge is made up of a rejected key, and various scrap parts. It is mounted on slots so intonation although set up perfectly, is adjustable.
Action is incredibly low, and this one likes to be played fast! I’ll be including a few washers, screwed down on the rear for raising the bridge for whoever buys it. I must admit, I’m finding it hard to play quick-tempo slide runs on this so the washers and adjustable bridge will raise the action without sacrificing intonation (if needed).
The tailpiece is a copper pipe, hammered and bent into shape.
The drive for this one though comes from a paint job on a pickup truck that parked up near me (see pics). I pretty much pounced on the owner and got sent to RustyPaint.
Overall it plays fantastic and sounds superb unplugged, on clean, on overdrive and full on fuzz.
Very, very happy with this ‘come-back’ piece.

Effective immediately Treadstone Guitars will be shutting down the instrument making side with the exception of the core wiring harnesses / rigs. This is due to a in-law family member becoming ill,so my energy as well as time is needed elsewhere.
So this means I won’t be doing CBGs, commissions, repairs, amps and custom harnesses. The wiring harnesses on EBay and the website will still operate as normal. Back up and running as normal in due course.

Also, f**k cancer.
