The hardest part of running a shop without an epos system (which we don’t want because we’re old and don’t do change) is keeping track of stock.
As we’d run out of Henna, Shayne ordered more yesterday.
This morning he looked in the stock “wardrobe” for the backflow cones we couldn’t find yesterday and stumbled across 3 boxes of henna 🙄
So we are now with beaded necklaces, sew on patches and fun-glasses.

Last week we met up with the team from Classrooms In The Clouds as Dawa Sherpa, the inspiration behind the Nepal charity, was in Britain visiting supporters and promoting their great cause.
Most of our followers and customers know we have been supporting this charity in rural Nepal for many years.
They build schools, train teachers ,encourage gender equality along side promoting menstruation health awareness and improving sanitation in schools.
As usual we met them en-route between talks with schools, local community groups and big companies that sponsor charities. We always tell the team to fit us around the "Big Guys" because we know how important it is to get continued funding.
We had £900- to donate and we took the obligatory "Handing over of the cheque" photo before we swiftly took it back.....
WHY?
Only because we wanted to save the funds until this week as the amount would be DOUBLED by match-funding via "The Big Give" charity event up to the amount of £10,000!
It's great that we held off as the amount we have to donate has gone up to an amazing £1000- which means the charity will get £2000! YAY!!!

Another one of our finds while enjoying a ride out on the bikes and tracking down the maker.
We have wooden token boots , land rovers and tractor designs and also silhouette designs for walkers and off roaders .
