🎨 Exciting news – watch this space! 🎨

After a couple of years away, I’m finally reopening my books, taking on window artwork and bespoke creative projects again!

The past few years have been a whirlwind — I’ve poured so much energy into my full-time role as a project manager, building my career and achieving things I’m really proud of. But along the way, I’ve realised just how much I’ve missed the creative side of life — the smell of wood, the flow of a brush or spray can, and the joy that comes from bringing an idea to life.

So… it’s time to bring a bit more art back into the mix and do the stuff that I really enjoy! ❤️

I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on — from bespoke height charts to personalised items. Stay tuned for updates, new designs, and maybe a few behind-the-scenes glimpses too.

So I got myself a little treat over the weekend and bought a new Dremel Versatip blowtorch, it's a game changer! It's brilliant for shading even on such a grainy piece of wood as these old wine boxes.
Now to invest in a lighter refill company as I have a feeling I'm going to be using this on all my projects!

Coprinus comatus, the shaggy ink cap, lawyer's wig, or shaggy mane, is a common fungus often seen growing on lawns, along gravel roads and waste areas.
The coprinus is a deliquescent species, meaning once it has released its spores it dissolves!
I found this one at Hawkwood CFT
today so it seemed only fitting to have a go at painting it in it's habitat.
