Kirsty Gadd Textiles Homewares, accessories, & gifts. Based in the Cotswolds. Where each piece is lovingly designed, printed, dyed and crafted.

Kirsty Gadd Textiles was created after labouring a love of textiles for over two decades and fantastic career in product, interiors and fashion with some of the most inspirational fashion and homeware brands. At the age of 6 I was given my first sewing machine and a love was founded for all things textiles and fabric- I've never looked back gaining a degree in Textile Design in 2006 from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design, then followed a fabulously rewarding career at design institutions Habitat, Laura Ashley and Clarks. After turning 30 in 2014 I felt the time was right to make my own creative mark and follow a life long dream. My inspiration comes from many sources; I'm a country girl, having grown up in rural Somerset I love all things countryside- picturesque landscapes, wildlife and all things natural, especially natural fabrics. My second love is for all things modernist; clean lines and shapes, and thoughtful functional design that inspires it's form. After leaving my shop and studio I now work in our rustic little cottage in Cirencester, the capital of the picturesque Cotswolds. I hope you enjoy my products as much as I have loved creating them!

As we welcome in the ‘ber’ months and head back to school and routine I wanted to pause and remember this summer, all its magic, freedom and inspiration.

It has been one of the most joyful and fulfilling summers I’ve ever had… wanting to take that feeling and remember it forever.

After years of death and grief this summer felt lighter, joyful and the gratitude I have for these past few months feels lifting.

I’ve not posted since April - too many memories to capture in 20 photos. Here are a few images celebrating some of the many things I’m grateful for in life - and the joy of watching the seasons change colour.

Shout out to all the parents with full hearts after the Easter holidays!

One of our Easter highlights- we hopped over the border to Devon and went to Tulip Fest @ Darts Farm. It was just wholesome & joyful- well worth a visit! ❤️

Blue is back.
Colour is back.
Maximalist prints are back.

Pattern drenching is in full swing (have you noticed it everywhere?)

Ready to say goodbye to grey forever.

Not sure where to start? Add a little accent - a tea towel.

These ‘Spring Gardens - At Night’ tea towels are bold, layered and unapologetically cheerful. Designed for kitchens that are loved and lived in.

• Which one would you hang in yours?
• Gift to your mum for Mother’s Day (two weeks away 👀)?
• Or bring out for Easter and feel quietly smug about?

Tell me your number below.

And save this for later! (because I know half of us are doom scrolling while trying to cook dinner or hiding in the loo for five minutes of peace from the kids).

I’ve been offline for a few months and here’s what I’ve learnt…

Creativity isn’t constant - it moves in seasons.

I’ve been in a quieter one, full of inspiration, real life, and a very messy studio.
(You’ll see that part on the last image… lots more coming soon.)

The world has felt heavy this summer - it’s been good to focus on the joyful little things.

Dad driving a million miles an hour around the country lanes with Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper blasting away… that was a vibe.

A wild, beautiful, completely unique juxtaposition.

He was one of a kind.

Utterly unforgettable.

✨ “I’m craving something creative again. I’m ready to make again — something creative, honest, and handmade… something that actually feels like me.”

Same here — and this print was born from exactly that feeling.

Meet Spring Gardens — one of the hero prints from my new Spring Gardens collection. It’s quirky, imperfect, and a gentle, joyful nod to my Grandad’s garden in Somerset. It’s full of childhood memories, daffodils, and that golden glow spring brings after a long winter.

Whether you’re stitching during nap time, carving out a Sunday sewing hour, packaging handmade orders, or daydreaming about a room makeover… this print is here to help you create something that feels like you.

💛 Available now via Spoonflower as fabric, wallpaper, and home decor — with over 30 fabric types and 6 wallpapers to choose from (link in bio).

🌸 And to make things easier? I’ve created free downloadable gift tags to match this print — perfect for wrapping handmade gifts, adding a thoughtful touch to your packaging (small biz owners, I’m looking at you!), or even using as bookmarks or note cards. Yours through the link in bio.

Tell me — what would you make?
A pillow for your reading nook, a set of table napkins, a dress for a little one, or a fresh new look for your studio wall?

✨ I’d love to see what you create — tag me so I can share the joy.

🌿 Here’s to creating slowly, beautifully, and in your own way 🌿

P.S. Thank you for still being here after a quiet couple of weeks. Life got loud (toddler life, mum life… you know the drill). Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing each of the prints in my Spring Gardens collection — one by one — as dresses, cushions, wallpaper and more, so you can see if they speak to you and imagine how they might come to life in your own world.
