A wee apology to anyone who’s visited us this week and found us closed!

We’ve had an ill household, so unfortunately haven't been open to the public.

BUT… we haven’t been completely idle 👀

We’ve been busy behind the scenes finding some new stock, having a bit of a reshuffle and giving the hut a fresh new look.

We’ll be back open this Monday — pop in for a rummage and to see what’s changed! ✨

It's feels way longer than a month ago since we secured our beautiful wee spot at Drum Farm Antiques in Edinburgh! We had a blast over the holidays getting the kids involved, but there's no denying how tiring it was! Despite some toothache and sick baby, we've made it up as much as possible over the past week, and even had some local rummagers come check us out! Met some amazing people, alot of great chat, and even made a few sales along the way! We still have some alot of stock to sift in, and some (probably half of what we have) left to price an inventory, but we're finally at a place where we feel happy to give an official opening day!... The first week or so we'll be open most days to guage the busy days. Then we'll decide on a slower schedule to fit round our wee family whilst building on our ebay store!

Getting there slowly but surely. I have to keep remiding myself that we only secured this place three weeks ago. There's a hell of a lot more entailed in setting up a business than I had first anticipated, but I'm enjoying the process.

It's been a very busy week, and I'm not lying when I say that I haven't had a minute (nor any space for that matter) to even think about filming or creating content! But we've been hard at it every day and are so proud of our progress... Starting a business venture whilst juggling three kids over the summer holidays no doubt makes the owners seem as mad as the curios, but we're so proud of all kids for their patience, help, and for making memories

It's tough trying to juggle our wee one's whilst setting up shop, but it's all in the name of a better future for all of us... I'm constantly knackered and overstimulated, Craig's back is done in and the kids have had to practice their patience a many a time. But teamwork makes the dream work!!

While waiting on our wood delivery to get our shelving built, we had a productive wee day ... Honestly, this venture has been eating up every minute of every day. But we wouldn't have it any other way! ... Going from unemployed to self employed has to be our most empowering decision to date! Loving every minute
