So we've had good news and bad news recently, but this could be good for you, so please keep reading.

The good news: we've made enough sales to hit the VAT threshold.

The bad news (aside from further tax payments): we've applied for our VAT number, but ebay has paused our account until we receive it (which can take HRMC up to 40 days to provide)! At Christmas of all times 😅🎅🧑‍🎄🤶🎄

Wow what an E.P!!!
Whilst Sweet could write delicious 70s glam pop as good as their make up caked contemporaries; they had a brilliant hard rock edge which they often let rip on their b sides and let me tell you there’s nothing second rate about this track listing.
3/4 songs here are written by or with famed writer and producer Mike Chapman, who (alongside Holly Knight) dominated MTV in the 80s with their stunning portfolio of hits. For me as a fan of all involved this is a lovely find. Sadly Brian’s flame burnt out in the late 90s but the band carry on albeit with one original member and can be seen all around Europe celebrating their seismic legacy.

Do the Bartman was the first Single I ever brought. I remember watching TOTP a short time later to see it had charted at Number 1. The track was written mostly by Michael Jackson but he was uncredited due to being on a different record label. Whilst the music seems dated the song actually stands up

Forgotten Gem
The USA has a history of successful bands names after their founders but for every Van Halen and Bon Jovi there’s a Riggs. Formed by Jerry Riggs in the late 70s they only managed one album but it’s fair to say it’s somewhat of a masterpiece. Whilst they had a very minor hit with Ready Or Not, album cuts like Heartbeat and Christine were brilliant anthems. Jerry later joined Pat Travers for a few years and still tours with .38 Special. This album is available to buy in our store

After The Hounds of Love by Kate Bush was featured in an episode of Stranger Things, price rose by approximately 1500% almost overnight due to the dramatically increased demand for this scarce cassette!

Now if Stranger Things could place a copy of the "Cuts Both Ways" album by Gloria Estefan somewhere, that would be great..we've got a couple 😂
