Clevedon Community Bookshop Clevedon Community Bookshop sells second-hand books from donations to raise funds for our Community. Come along and while away the hours browsing our shelves!

Clevedon Community Bookshop is an exciting co-operative venture owned and run by local volunteers, as well as others with a passion for literature. We receive and sell quality second-hand books, both adult and children's, fiction and non-fiction. We also offer a book-finding service, book repair and binding, free WiFi, and a varied programme of courses and events. Note on pricing: Popular paperback fiction novels are now £2.50 each, or three for £1.00. Non-fiction and other fiction genres (classics, poetry, children's etc) vary in price, but are always a bargain!

SHOP CLOSURE - Due to the unprecedented hot weather conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, we have made the decision to shut the shop both days. Apologies for any inconvenience but we will reopen as normal on Friday 10.30-4.30. In the meantime, why not stay home in the cool and browse our internet sales instead

Volunteer with us at CCBS
The Bookshop receives hundreds of books every week in donations and many of these are advertised for sale online, we currently need another volunteer to join our busy cataloguing team describing books for our Internet Shop. All you need is a love of books, access to a computer, transport for collection and return and a few hours to spare working at home. Full training will be given.
